Fiberguy, why you advertising for Corals Paradise? Doesn't make me want to come even though he's having a sale. Tell Jim for me that I won't make it. I got his letter too. You see Mr. CMAS board guy, I got a letter from Corals Paradise also about the sale. It's blue! It proves I don't just shop at one store.

Why do people get upset about advertising on the forum when it's for a local store and it stays contained? Personally I like to know when sales are happening so it can save me money. Plus with Pics you can do some window shopping without leaving the house.

I don't understand it either. Maybe a moderator will help clear things up. But I wasn't advertising anything. That FiberLux guy said I was advertising but yet he advertised for Corals Paradise. The sale is tomorrow though. You going to the sale tomorrow "the pro"?

No. Jeff actually helped me out today. I live in the city and work in the suburbs so instead of making me drive all the way out there tomorrow and waste time and gas money, gett was nice enough to give me the sale prices today. Picked up about $100 in items. Great sale, but now I really need a bigger tank.

Boyd is helping us out by letting us know about sales at the LFS's that support CMAS. He did the same thing for the sales at Sea Schor and Ocean's Floor. He is doing us a great service by posting about the sales and the pics of what will be at these sales. I, for one, am very greatful for this. Thanks Boyd!

I won't be able to make it but always appreciate the head's up Boyd give us. He's the liaison between all the CMAS supporting shops & the club.

I was thinking of going over to my LFS (Coral Reef) & taking some pics of their new stuff to post here. They haven't really been known for their great coral selection but really seems to be trying to get better stuff in lately, like that awsome blasto rock I got yesterday!

I agree, some other bum tore into fiberlux in the past for posting pics of ocean's floor stuff. Thanks boyd for all the pics from DIFFERANT stores!

i thought CMAS was supposed to be unbiased, which by Boyd showing EVERY store seems to be the case...i thought i read in some other thread that it was a previous/past agreement that only the CMAS pres would advertise as this is a CMAS board and they support CMAS and the pres would do so unbiasedly (is that a word?? i havent sleot in 38 hours...) To me and my limited time on here (less than a year) that seems to be the case.

I was going to late today but when I got back home I found that the spring to my garage door broke so I instead had to call around to get someone to fix it Monday. There goes $$$ I was planning for the tank......
