Coral Pest ID Help

I recently added two new frags to my 75g mixed reef tank- one is a millepora and the other I believe some type of acropora. After having them for a week or so, I noticed these tiny dark spots on them.. Are they some sort of pest I need to be worried about? They seem to be doing well otherwise. Any help would be appreciated!

They look like retracted polyps. I have them on my sps also.

no they are reg bugs...use coral RX.... dip and qt everything going into your tank!!!!

Now, hold on. You are telling me you see red bugs in the pics he provided? I had red bugs before and can see them from across the room. Those pics don't have red bugs that can be seen, also it does not match his discription.

Agreed! The spots that show up, in the photos provided, are MUCH larger than Red Bugs. I'd agree that they're retracted polyps. If it continues, long term, it might be something to be concerned about. Make sure you're providing good flow and see if it helps. Otherwise, a cautionary dip may be warranted. CoralRx is a great product.
