Coral photos

Hi guys,

Still very wet behind the ears to the hobby and I've been wandering around the pages for some time now watching people take some amazing photos of their Corals..

First question: how on earth do you do it??!

I have an dslr Nikon d3100 with a variety of lenses. Can someone point me in the right direction on where to start or an old thread to look at? Tank lighting? Etc? Bear in mind I got this camera a few Christmas's ago and don't use it as much as I should.

All the ones I take are easily said quite hopeless compared to the ones I see on here and would really like to start a time lapse on my zoas as they are growing considerably well.

Thankyou in advance.

Justin

I made a couple of look down tubes for mine using scrap acrylic and 3" PVC. Total cost was about $10 for the both of them

Here's a couple pictures I took with them

hth!
