Coral placement help -- achieving a "full" look

Hey everyone,

Just after some feedback about how my 15 gal looks after about 8 months in.

I'm trying to achieve a full looking mixed reef, but I'm not sure if my corals areally placed optimally. I'm struggling to find a spot for my toadstool; I'm not sure if being up in the rock work is the best place for him!

I've seen some amazing mixed reefs on here where everything is touching.... sps, softies, etc. How do you achieve this without stuff dying?!

I feel like there's room for more bits and pieces, but not sure how to place them.

Any thoughts/comments are much appreciated.

PS -- some of the corals are sulking due to being moved around. Oops.

That looks very full to me already, nice job.

Corals doing well so close to each other are often due to constant maintenance/pruning, and the way they got so close to each other is because the tank is mature. It probably takes a year, year and a half, for a tank to grow in a bit and look more mature. Don't rush it though, because that's when you start to lose interest

You have a great start that is looking really good. I agree at leaving it as is for now and let everything grow into the open spaces and find their own natural place.

Thanks very much for the feedback. This little nano has been -- and still is -- an awesome project. I've learnt so much, from keeping everything alive to making cabinets ha ha.
