Can you post a full set of parameters as of today? Mag is low calcium is high so I would assume Alk is going to be off too. Also like Djkms asked what is the po4? because 2 .2 and .02 would all be a huge difference. If it is indeed 2 then that is going to be a major problem.

I have all the test kits besides Alk, it should be in next week. I will test the water again tomorrow and post results, I also plan on a water change Sunday.

Once my levels are correct should weekly water changes be done or bi-weekly?

Unfortunately yes, 2 ppm.

whoa. 2ppm. that will do it. If you can, I would start running GFO and swap it out till your live rock stops leeching PO4.

I had the same problem 8 months after I started my 55gal system ( No TDS meter on RODI unit was a mistake!) and it took me 4lbs of GFO to get rid of most of the PO4 leeching. That was 2 years ago and I'm convinced there is still some locked up in the rock waiting to come out when I am on vacation and away from the tank. :lolspin:

I just removed quite a bit of cyano, would that cause a spike in PO4?
