Hey all (again
)
I just added a mushroom polyp to my tank...it is kind of reddish colored, roughly a little larger than the size of a dime - looks like it is kind of slowly beginning to melt backwards. Or bend backwards on the edges - is this...normal?
Also, when you add pulsing xenia, and zoas, and gsp's and the such to a tank, how long do you 'generally' wait before the polyps begin opening? Some of the zoas polyps have opened all the way, while others are still closed. My Xenia is just kind of hanging out not doing anything...a little bit bent over.
Also, when I got my zoa frags, they came with LR; the frag itself looks like a bunch of closed polyps in sort of a circle/ball with the polyps pointing in all directions...so if I were to bind it to a rock, a polyp(s) would get smashed/get no light. Right now I just set the polyp in a little groove in the rock where is protected from high flow; is this okay?
TIA
