all of my coral looks great except my hammer corals there from the same colony they looked decent in my friends tank but in mine they look really tan and dull. but when the actinics are on they look good like in my buddys tank. is there anything i can feed coral to brighten them up or should i just add more actinics to my tank. right now i would say my tank has a 12k look

How long have the hammers been in there? It has/is taken a long time for our corals to adjust to leds.

But it inflates and appears healthy? If so then yes, consider adding some more rb's to enhance the color to your desire. Much of your other livestock will "pop" more as well.

Can you simply add more bulbs to your led fixture?

yeah it looks very healthy and normal. rapid led has a diy fixture that is 24 cree royal blue leds that is only 1.4 inches wide so i can put it between my fixtures and i think that should give me a 16 k look im hoping

i know adding more blue will def bring out the color i was just wondering if there was certain foods that would make them brighter. kinda like certain fish foods have stuff in them that makes them brighter

I would add more actinic lighting. Corals can look totally different under different types of lighting. I don't nessisarily think it needs to color up.
