Coral reccomendations

I have been really trying to visualize spots where frag plugs can go in roundish holes in the rocks. The rock is question I see at least 4 spots that a plug could go into. The rock is midlevel of the tank flow idk but I have the return pump a 1500gph and a 850gph so it maybe on the higher end of flow. I want something lps and encrusting with several colors. I thought of chalice any other ideas because Saturday is just around the corner. Here is the pics the highlighted areas may not be exact just a rough estimate.

Do you want to keep your frags on the plugs when they go into your display? I tend to remove the frag from the plug for a few reasons. This may give you more options for placement if you do so.

I was planning on leaving it on the plug. I am also looking for torches and hammers but if it is just the skeleton I can wedge it or epoxy it. I could do some nice zoas but that is a really big rock to sorta waste with zoos.

On a unrelated coral. My mother went to michaels in Edwardsvile after dog training classes she can't walk real good because of bad knees so I help her out anyway. I hate michaels but petco is right next door like I said earlier I have been out of the hobby for awhile. I saw this interesting coral sorta like clove polyps and gsp. It was blue sympodium I googled it I am kinda interested in it as it does not seem invasive as gsp and Xenia eventhough I read it is in the same family. I have a lower rock in mind unless you think it is a mistake because I made the Xenia and gsp mistake before never again

Sympodium is just as invasive as GSP. If you plan on keeping it make sure its an island rock and away from everything else.

I have another rock down lower I want to do ricordia on as long as they can do partial shade I have a little over hang. But on that higher rock I would like a lps if they can play nice
