coral sting what coral?

i was wondering what corals sting what corals? like what coral can be placed next to each other? sorry im a newbie..

is it sps with sps and like softies with softies? or do i have to find out information about individual corals?

sps release chemicals if they feel threatened by nearby corals.
lps release their sweeper tentacles if they feel threatened. frogspawns, hammers, bubbles typically being the most aggressive. for softies, ricordeas are pretty potent, while other stuff like gsp and zoas are aggressive in the sense that they grow over stuff. your question is very very broad

^^^ What they all said. Just be sure to run carbon if your going to have mixed species. Your tank may seem to appear a bit cloudy due the chemicals being released. Well atleast mine seems that way....
