Mr. Wilson
I sent you a PM about that tank with the remote chiller. did you get it or do i need to re-send it.

Yes, I responded but I guess it didn't go out. Carl doesn't do much on forums and he doesn't have a website. He had a frag business for awhile but he closed it. That's how he got all the cherry picked corals :)

(i just like the way he did his 2nd tank and wish there were more information on it)

Awww... I read the whole build & hoped that by the time I got to the end you'd be putting corals in... now I have to wait it out in real time! :sad1:

Peter, great thread you have going! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading it all (when I shoulda been working :lmao: ) What you are are accomplishing in terms of best practices is so benefical to the industry! Right now I have information overload, but I know that I'll be coming back to this thread time & time again researching for answers to my many questions. And I hope that being a 6' blonde - unfortunately without the tail - will get me & my hubby as pass to see the fruits of your labour next time we're in your neck of the woods visiting the inlaws? ;) That said, please convey my appreciation to your wife, her gardens are magnificent and her sense of style - WOW!

Mr Wilson your wisdom astounds me! I find myself quoting your little gems to my husband... Count me in for a copy of your book! :) I wish I had a copy of it now as we're stumbling around with an upgrade. :hammer:

Chago - beautiful baby girl- congrats!! :)

All other posters - thank you so much for the entertaining & highly educational read. I'll be lurking. :wavehand:

ALLLLL RIIIIIGHT!!!!! ENOUGH!!!!!!

This thread has been very engaging (how many people subscribed and contributing???), painful to watch (not really), humorous (frequently), challenging (reworking new installations), on the edge (technology), celebratory (Chago), confusing (MR. Wilson at times), Informative (Mr. Wilson all the time), envious (well, DUH?!?!), Gorgeous (potential Fish Room girls), all encompassing (wine, cars, flying, shipping, sourcing.........) and i could go on and on and on and on......

BUT......

WE NEED A PICTURE UPDATE.

I need a fix........(huddled in corner by the light of laptop jonesing)

C'mon, what gives here?????

Do we have to beg?

OK

Dear Peter,

While I have enjoyed your company over these last few months I feel that we have begun to grow apart. We are meeting new friends and subscring to new threads. This time.........
Nevermind that......

How bout it?

Can ya PRETTY PLEASE HELP US OUT?????

The tribe has spoken:hammer:

MSR lol talk about humorous :)

Even married blondes move to the front of the line Prairie at light speed if they are in heels......

First up thank you for your generous praise and thank you for remaining a somewhat silent party to our endless thread. There is an update coming that should make all the waiting worthwhile. Mr. Wilson has been very very busy and some of the technology has been challenging to integrate to say the least. You are right, hanging around Mr. Wilson is like spending time with the curator of the Pacific Ocean. Yet he and I are both learning and we hope that this group is patient enough to keep coaching us through the next phase of this evolution.

A public welcome to our community and I hope we can bring a little warmth to what I`m sure will be a blistering cold winter for you

I've been lurking a looong while. This is the most rocking thread ever!! Patience in this hobby is the key and we're with you Peter and company. Just keep doing what you're doing.

Today's update...

- moved Bartlet and Ventralis anthias to display tank along with a Tribal blenny.
- hooked up the refugium to the main system and drilled a second (siphon) drain.
- reinstalled the 16 - 1" Eductors with new custom machined low profile couplings from Paul at Oceans Motions.
- added a liter of xenia to the Mars invert system.

Tomorrow's update...

- lots of photos (if I remember to bring my camera)... okay, it's by the door, battery is charged :)

Tomorrow's update...

- lots of photos Thank Heavens.(if I remember to bring my camera)You're a funny one :lolspin:... okay, it's by the door, battery is charged :)

Good deal on the pics around here with all these people complaining all the time. Geesh, you'd think no one had ever seen a tank or something.

Looking forward to tomorrow.........

Hmmmm...now what can I do until then? I know, raid the wine cellar and try a new bottle I've never had before. I wonder what the wife would like to try.

Till tomorrow.

you sir are a god, i dont know what you do but when i grow up i want to do it

A Deity, A DEITY, that seems like a stretch asacopoo, even for me! But I can give you one small bit of advice. Don't wait till you grow up. It's never going to happen, ever! I know from first hand experience. Take it from someone who is retired. You will never grow up. Growing up is a lie, a fib someone made up to try and keep you in line. Its all about the journey not the destination. If you are waiting for someone to come up to you and telling you that you are all grown up now...............its too late!
