Nice Flashing Shot!
Were are you buying the HM DIGITIAL ps 202?Actually I won't be because Peter and Shawn have already purchased controllers. I will just make my system fit in with what they are going to be setting up once the new sump arrives. I will be adding a monitor which constanly give a TDS reading before and after the DI. This way I know how my membranes are performing at all times. The unit is the HM Digitial PS 202.
That is one beautiful fish Peter - Congratulations. I imaging tracking him in the vast expanse of your tank rivals the proverbial quest for a "needle in a haystack."

This was a gift from one of our community (Slammin) for the Bonzai section of our reef. It is really neat and different. Anyone know anything about it???

Can i buy one from you?I buy them from HM digital directly. I use these a lot on commercial systems. Some of my customers make thousands of gallons of water a day and need to always know what the TDS is. So I add this to every system. Accuracy is phenomenal and it has alarms letting you know if the TDS gets above a specific number that you preset. It can also be connected to control another unit. Basically some customers can't have RO production stop, it must run 24/7. So they have two units, when the controller senses a TDS of lets say 1, it will send a signal to another controler which shuts off that are RO system and turns on the other one. This way while this one is off, maintenance can be done and it will be ready for the switch back. Its a great unit and very reliable, HM digital wrote the book on TDS meters.

You might but please pm chago with your question. We all try not to transact business in this thread as it is a cultural no no on the forum. I don't want to deny anyone the opportunity to earn a living, in fact I want folks to do well, it helps the hobby when there is a healthy economy. The challenge we have here is that eventually I hope to be able to help others by listing all the best practices we have been able to identify in our build but I am not in the business and never will be but others on the team might be and if you want to follow any question that might involve commerce then do it using the back channel. Use the PM system and the mods and I will be happy and on good terms.

Great Pic! Not only are you becoming a grandmaster in reef aquariums, you are also becoming quite the Photographer. The only question i have is how many 1's and 0's did you have to delete to get this pic?:jester:
I am going to palawan next year so I agree with you but the proximity to Mindanao for a foreigner concerns me!
If you mean success ratio.......I probably took 100 shots to get this one!
Thanks for the kind words.

so now that we have fish and coral i have a question for you Peter i know at the dinner in Orlando we briefly discussed QT habits and had very different idea's all around the table. I'm interested to know what you have decided on doing for all fish and corals entering your system. With a system the size of yours it would be a nightmare trying to catch a sick fish or trying to get rid of redbugs or flatworms. On my systems i dip for everything and QT for 2-3 months before introducing anything so was wanting to know what you have decided to do.
