what do you mean most of it shouldn't it all be there?

Very good.........I'm glad somebody is paying attention!!!! The last attempt arrived in pieces. The transport driver just dropped the pallet and ran before I could check it. Mr. Wilson is expected at 10am so we will open it then and keep our fingers crossed. The next two days are big ones with the final attempts to finish the lights and the sump and the last mangrove unit. Yup, today is a very big day. Report to come real soon......

Thank you ever so much for your generous praise. The journey has been enhanced a thousand times with the strength and support of this community. It is true........the best part of all of this is in the sharing, I would be lying if I said otherwise. Glad to have you along for the next chapter.

I do believe this is called a teaser

It was and Melinda gets the prize for catching it first. We have unwrapped it and with help from the Bros Grimm all the major elements are now in the fish room. Mr. Wilson is generously driving across the city to get a couple of ballasts for the lights so that by the end of the day when he gets back we will finally have the lights up and running. Mr. Wilson is also going to try and aim for a perfect colour match to the aesthetic benchmark we set for ourselves at the outset that takes all the feedback we have received into account. I would suggest that the result is about 12,500 but soon enough you folks can agree or disagree with the real thing.

We are planning to put the mangrove and the sump into the system on boxing day for anyone who is bored with the holiday by then........We will be posting pictures of that result when it happens!!!

Dwerbs, if I had just found this thread I might be tempted to skim through it myself. I found it with 50 or so pages and lurked for a long time before joining. Now when I check in daily it is like sitting down and listening to my friends talk over cocktails, and learning a lot in the process. Thank you Peter for your vision, and for what must be a great amount of time and effort to bring us along with you. And Cheers to everyone here for your well behaved and thoughtful input. Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all

Just curious Mr. Wilson, what is the orp reading now that things are stable and getting along fine. And what would you consider as "ideal" I know that number does not exist in a world of its own but knowing most of the parameters already.

Peter I'm in suspense on the condition of the sump...do we have success? (Fingers crossed) :)

Well, you can uncross your fingers......we have a permanent sump in good condition as well as mangrove hydroponic wall unit. Hopefully both will be going into full production on Sunday. Following that we are planning to bring all of the sub systems (various media reactors, probes, skimmers etc) on line as we were holding off waiting for the permanent sump. After all the basic systems are running and the profilux has been brought on line as well we will be looking for stability to allow us to go get the coral for the display tank.

This is really important, as the holidays can be a major drag with everything being closed. We needs our entertainment, we does, and nothing could be better than to see your system finally falling into place. You've been held back unnecessarily for so many months I'm surprised you haven't hurt someone by now.

Anyway, best of success over the weekend. I'll be following closely.

Cheers,

Dave.M

250 pounds of prime Mr. Wilson recommended, Nine Ball personally harvested chaetomorpha with a rare Brazilian clove of Garlic. If your fish don't like it then you could consider opening up a restaurant!!!!!

Peter

What should we call it? Hmm...oh I know "WNBA" Select lol:D
I hope someone gets it:o

Greetings and happy holidays to all! I will not fill up your thread with too much of the same compliments and awe at the incredible journey you have set out on and so graciously included all of us in. This thread is one of the primary reasons I have decided to make the jump from my 28 gallon nano to a 275 gallon. . . nano I guess. (Seems so small compared to your reef.) Peter, your openness to others input and your ability to find true talent in the reef keeping realm and your tireless dedication to documenting everything for our benefit is second to none. Thank you for sharing your experiences and thank you Mr. Wilson and all of the rest of the team for sharing your seemingly boundless knowledge.
