Coral Toxin

I remember reading a thread made by the guy referenced in that video, scary stuff. You cant go overkill on safety, and I don't think anyone here will ever rip on you for wearing eye protection.
Great video Tyler, subscribed

Not sure if its related or not but I rearranged all my rockwork early in the week...pulled out a bunch of colt coral(never done that) and handled the few chalice and spa I have in my 240. Have been reefingfor what 8 years or so. Got symptomatic while fishing on Friday. Projectile vomiting while driving and convulsions in the ER. Been treated on IV drugs for internal infection for three nights here at Backus. Some heart tests tommorow and hopefully I am out.

Can I attribute it to the tank considering all my history? No. But just maybe one of those fishing cuts allowed something in this time. I should probobly by some reef gloves. My wife was pretty upset when my eyes were rollingin my head and they asked her to leave.

Glad to hear you are making a recovery...who knows what happened but it's definitely possible you picked up some bacteria from your tank...no way to pinpoint it really.

So, you're sitting in your hospital bed posting on a reefing forum? That's dedication. Glad you are feeling better. If your tank was the cause, I hope it doesn't happen again.

Not dedication my friend. Try being in a hospital bed for 4 days. Doing anything and everything to avoid going stircrazy!
