Coral you wish we had in NM

ALWAYS SPS in good shape ..most stores here do not still have a specific setup or system to address the husbandry of these corals..If you do not buy in the first week the purple monster is now the brown pencil..
OF course Ken is the only one I know that has done this but he is not a LFS and not %100 accessible like a LFS..

Ye with Regin, SPS has been lacking in ABQ, and ROB is just not an SPS guy (diff. more challenging for him) if the corals stay in the TANKS at SWRC they turn brown recede or die….I have tried for a long time to get ROBBY to create a Frag tank to grow corals out and sell the frags IMO it would have been good for him and good for the reefs of our world (low impacted) one time he told me that that’s what the LED square tank was for it just a BAD attempt… NOW that’s ken is here I thinks the dynamics are going to change..Ken has SPS,LPS,CLAMES, and soon to have ZOOes…. In a the past I would take frags in, but we all know how the times have changed…there is no room in the TANKS anymore…..

u havent been since the new RR 75s that line the north wall now have ya? should try again their pretty empty last i was in and all those are frags and the last one holds anemones

anyone know the name of the co. mike has that builds them (leds)..I havent seen a website or brand name ..I am thinking of trying to do a complete DIY reef ..

I carry SPS in my tanks but it is not one of my top sellers. Usually a sell alot of Zoa, frogspawn, hammers, and mushrooms. I have probably 15 different types of SPS frags from acros to hydrophoria.

Are you a store, what do you mean best seller"¦.you're not selling to others in the Hobby..ARE YOU??? Any way I like that ROB does not take SEEsick's stuff, because he gives it away, good for me and friends!! Grabbing a bunch of frags on Sat.
If an individual, I see nothing wrong with selling in the hobby. I haven't done it with coral yet, but I have with plants when I was in FW. It wasn't about net profit, but rather staying even with expenses lol.

It seems that there is not too many in the hobby that does SPS because it is difficult and some people are even afraid to try to. It seems that more people are more interested in Zoa and LPS in this area. I pretty much culture everything except leathers!!!!!! For some reason i think LEATHERS are foul!!! lol I am still working on and trying to expand my Zoa and paly garden. I try to help out with the club as much as possible and will be donating to the frag tank once she is up and running. SEEsick if you can please post up some pics of your tank i would love to see what you have? Thanks

I have done this in the past and sometimes have been lucky enough to color up some beauties!!! I will have to admit regular brown acro is probably the hardest thing to kill. It just amazes me how much it can take. lol

Dan (LPS157) funny"¦ with you on the brown Acro species for big bucks.. if you see them on the day they come in usually colorful.. the grape vine said that sum new ORA corals came in today..better check them out before they turn brown"¦
Dan also stopped buy kens house he said he talk to you and had a good conversation he also said it nice to talk to sum-one that knows there stuff... he likes to talk to people like that… most of the time peep will refer to acos. like that green one or that flat monte (real laymen)….Anyway That’s a big complement coming from him look forward to meeting you Saturday night hopefully..
