Help a newb out. What do you feed your green button polyp? Think I should move it to one of the live rocks a little higher up? What other coral should I get with the stock 3g picotope light? Remember I have a koralia 240 pump and I'm going to hook up an ac70 filter this weekend so that's more flow as well.

I'm not even sure this is a green button polyp. I been looking at pics online but they don't look like this. What you think?

i was scanning some images i think it could be a variation of it. it looks in your pic like it has a hint of blue or green

It can be fed, but it doesn't need to be fed in order for it to stay healthy. Your polyps like most corals get their energy/food from light.

ya those are zoanthids.... they only need light to thrive and multiply... but if you do want to feed them go get a product called "reef roids" or "reef snow"... this is basically ground up plankton, mysis shrimp, etc. and other necessary nutrients. mix the powder with water and use a turkey baster to spray the colonies.... most will close when being hit by the water jet, but others will not, dont worry they are still feeding... i would recommend feeding your reef 1 time in every 10 days... that is what i have been doing and i have found substantial growth in my zoanthid only tank!!!
