I dunno- green with pink/purple edge is common, but if the polyps are really blue it might be a nice coral. I'd want to see a better pic though, and still wouldn't pay over $50 for it either.
 
no I am not buying it from ebay. I just found a good picture of it on ebay. all the otherspics have been small and the colors are brown/green and orange. this was my first time seeing a blue one
 
Oh, I get it- you're just planning for a M. capricornis in general. You'll probably be able to get a frag from a club member. As far as sps go they are not the most demanding in terms of light and current. I think you could keep it alive fine under pc, and get probably get better color under halides.
 
The frag I had was fine until it ended up upsidedown in the sand :rolleyes:. I've got three species of M. Digitata under PC's but I have 390watts of light over a 55
