coralife 250 watt ignitor

does any one know where i can get an ignitor for a coralife 250 watt metal halide

Metal halide, are you sure it's not the capacitor you need, or is the ballast a M80 aka "HQI" with a ignitor and capacitor for double ended bulbs.

yeah i pulled the ignitor from another bulb set up and if fired right up

I dont think it's an M80 but it is a pulse start so there is an ignitor.

Is this the fixture with the ballast external but the ignitor inside the fixture itself?

If so, I believe it is a non typical ballast circuit. RC member PaulErik knows this circuit well and the replacement parts. He works in the lighting industry and is the resident lighting-tech. expert. A good guy too, very helpful.

yes the ballasts are external with the ignitor in the fixture, but do you know where i can find the repacement ignitor that i need

ESU ... energy savers unlimited is the company that owns Coralife. Contact them, they should be able to get you the replacement.

If not, contact RC member PaulErik ... he should be able to help you.
