coralife 72" LED voltage

I have a coralife 72" lunar light. does any one know the voltage of the leds. i want to buy a new transformer. i bought it used and the guy had a 7v. transformer on it and it went out the still work with a 9v batt. but i find it hard to belive there 7 volts. i was thinking there prob 12.
