Coralife aqua light s led

Does anyone use or have experience with this light thinking of getting it for my 40 gallon breeder all the corals I want are soft corals zoanthids and lps is the light strong enough for the types of corals my tank is 16 inches tall and is it ok to use with a screen top with 1/8 netting

Shallow tank, this light might be sufficient for LPS but I wouldn't count on it. For the price you can get a much better fixture and just use one over the 40B.

Its not suitable for corals..
expect only ~40par or less 12" from the light = CRAP

Its a "fish only" light..

It is at the "low end" of "low light"

i don't buy anything Coralife, i've had a bunch of different products from them over the years and they've all been junk.

I have the 30" Coralife T5 light on my 20gallon long and my corals are growing like crazy. that includes montipora and birdsnest that are in the middle section of my scape. I can't vouch for the LED version but the T5 works great on my shallow tank.

Would a 4 bulb t5 30 inch coralife fixture work for lps and soft coral and what bulb combination would it be
