Coralife Biocube XR 15 pro help

What setup do yall recommend recommend for using this Radion XR 15 pro, I was really hoping to keep the hood on but its not looking good.

there was a dude that put in the bigger radion xr 30 in the hood of his bio cube by drilling holes where the mounting studs were. I can't find the thread anymore but it looked really good so an xr 15 should fit. He did gut the entire hood and never had heat issues.
