Hey all, picked up a used tank today and the guy threw in this light. It's 72", and has 4 of the compact flourescent bulbs. He said he was having some issues getting it to work but it was free so I took it. Tried to turn it on at home, but none of the 4 sets of bulbs work. The fans kick on, and I can also turn on the lunar leds, but no go on the bulbs. I pulled one set out and the connector was loose and is pulling away from the bulbs, so I'm assuming at least that one is bad. I'm not familiar with the wiring on these, so do all 4 have to be working for any of them to turn on? The replacement bulbs are about 40 bucks a pop, so I don't really wanna replace all 4 sets if I don't have to. My last question, being these are compact flourescents ( each bulb set is 96W). How would these compare to T5? Also don't wanna spend the money fixing this thing up if the light is gonna be crappy in the end.
