i have a 150 watt 72" coralife aqualight pro that when all fired up sounds like a "sparking" or "arcing" is taking place inside the fixture and cannot figure out what is going on. i have taken the fixture apart and cleaned it all out i thought salt creep had gotten in some where and was shorting something out but this is not the case. i am wondering if anyone has had similiar problems or can point me in the right direction. or if anyone has conact info for them i have the number that came with the box but it says its unavailable from my calling area. i live in alberta, canada. thanks a bunch for any help.
p.s. its happening whith both the atinics and hqi's dosnt matter if there on at the same time or individually.

Search the "Vendor experiences" forum and you will learn all about coralife.
I feel for you, I know you paid alot of money.

My vendor experience with Coralife has been that if something breaks they send out a replacement no questions asked. Contact them. They have a one year warranty.

They replaced my pump for my SS and they replaced an entire metal halide fixture based on my word only and did not even ask for the broken parts back.

I had a broken piece of glass for my coralifr aqualight pro and they sent 1 right out free of charge. So if you can get a hold of them I think they will be a great help./ I did have e-pmail contact with. I will try to find the e-mail info for you. I may have to wait until tomorrow and give them a call. Just post again and bring the thread back to the top tomorrow so I don't forget.

Usually when you hear the arcing sound it is caused by the sockets being spread too far apart where it connects to the pins on the bulb. The sound is it arcing from the socket to the pin. I have seen this happen on over half a dozen fixtures.
