coralife ro membrane flushing

can someone point me to directions for flushing a membrane for a coralife pure flo unit? I've read it should be flushed every month, but there aren't directions on how to do so.

Is your system configured so that the flush valve opens a bypass around the flow restrictor?

it dosent have a flush valve, not that I see.

Then you'd just need to install a flush valve kit. Inexpensive, easy, quick.

Check out Bulk Reef Supply. They have several good videos that explain how to add on flush valves, TDS meters... onto your existing system. You can purchase the valve and parts from them.

okay, thanks guys. I do have one more question. I've read that flushing the membrane will extend its life, can I continue to use my unit until I purchase the flush kit?
