coralife RO unit

I plan on buying a RO/DI unit for my house. I think I'm the only one here still carrying jugs around. drfostersmith.com has a Coralife unit thats 4 stage 50gpd for $140. Is there any reason why I shouldnt buy this unit? I have bought other things from them and their customer service has been very good.

nothing wrong with the Coral Life units at all. There are only 2-3 membrane makers in the world so essentially they all work pretty much the same. The housing and fittings on the Coral Life are fine too. You can upgrade the carbon when it needs replaced.

Or, follow Coves advice and save a little dough and help put a little $$ in a fellow reefers pocket.

i still carry jugs too. i think salty critter has some nice units. nothing wrong with fosters as i use them alot but if you want it now and dont want used go see salty. i have to wait till after Christmas to see if my wife buys me one.

I'v gota spectra pure unit 4 50 bucks. I think it will take up to a 75 gpd memabrane. Theres a 40 in it right now.
