Coralline algae fluoresce orange?

On the live rock I got from TBS I have a small (1/4" or less) patch that fluoresces orange under my blue LEDs. When I look at it under my 14K MH it looks like coralline algae that is a maroon color. Not certain if it is coralline or a coral. Any thought?

it's coralline, I have some that does the exact same thing, a plating type for me.

cool. It is only a small patch at the moment, so hopefully it does well and grows out in my tank.

I get some orange occasionally, but it doesn't last long, seems to go away after a week. I am thinking the MH lights are too much for it maybe? Seems to like the shade better.
