Coralline algae glass control...

My 30 gal is finally starting to get overrun with red corraline algae. I have a glass tank - does anyone have a good product selection for keeping the glass clear? Like a brush or something?

...tired of using the credit card on the glass

Hi, I've tried a few but really like the Kent Marine Pro Scraper. Get the 24" one.

They also have a 12" one. Could work better in you 30 gal.

I use a cheap glass scraper from the paint dept of the hardware store. Works great. But the blades do rust eventually, so I got one with cheap replacable blades.

I should clarify, the glass scraper I use is just a plastic handle for a 2" wide utility knife blade. Just like a razor blade, but much faster.

Wal-mart 4" glass scraper w/ razor refills for like $2. Toss blade after every use.

I went over to pet supermarket and they had a knock off brand of the kent proscraper.. I got the 30" long handled one with a SS blade, a scooper, and a algae brush for 8 bucks... Works great...
