Coralline Algae

I have a 120 with dual overflows, I have had the tank set up for about a month after transferring from my 75. Coralline algea is starting to pop up on the overflows, I like to keep the back of the tank as clear of coralline as possible, am I fighting a losing battle trying to keep the overflows clean? If not, what is the best way to keep them clean?

You could keep your parameters way out of wack so it won't grow nothing else will do very good either, but you won't have to look at that nasty pink, red, orange, purple reef building stuff either.

Maybe you could try a course scrub pad used regularly.
