Both my leather and bubble havnt been doing so hot since I moved them back into the tank. Sorry, I dont have my water parrameters. My other corals are doing great.. polops, zoos, hammer bubble. The leather has been looking sick since Ive had it in the temporary 10 gal for the past couple months(rebuilding my 55gal). Both corals have had hermits on them night and day eating at them..

on the leather you can see at the base of it where its rotting away..

The bubble used to fill in that yellow and red area.. the rest of the coral looks good, altho it dosnt get as big as it used to.

Is there any hope? Should I pull these out?

On the bubble...I would just give it some time.

on the lather...I had the same problem. I had read to cut the head off and put it in a well flowing area, and give it time. So thats what Im doing. -and accually...PPM had a few like that for sale about a month ago. (with the head cut off...for 500y)

Bubbles can be sensitive to change. Is it in a high flow or low flow area? I keep mine in moderate flow areas but have noticed if I move it, it doesn't look so great.

well the bubble isnt doing any better, but its not doing any worse. The Toadstool on the other hand is still going down hill.. its base is almost completely gone.. just hope somethings not eating at it from the bottom up.

Your tank is still very new and is going thru changes you cant see. Just give it time... It will take months to stablize In the mean time the coral won't look so hot but they will pick up later on.

yea, understandable. Just cant figure out why all my other corals are doing great but that one. oh well, if it dies I'll just get another one.

It's just because it's more sensitive to changes than the other ones. I went thru this many times with my coral when I first set my tank up.

I was wondering if coral recovers from being bleached. I had a little growth of something on my rock that looked coral-like. It looked great the first few days, but recently as I got home from work late, it looked bleached.

Turns out that my maid switched the timer on my light off and my little growth has grown, but has also turned white during the three days it has been without light... Does coral recover from this?

Many coral will bleach from bad conditions like temp or ammonia and such. Many will recover though but only time will tell.
