corals for sale or trade

nice looking pics. would love to know any info to get my zoas to actuallty grow. i have some small frags (not sure variety) that dont seem to be really doing much. some days they are open well and other days only a few open up
 
Hey X. just a curiosity, do you run a calcium reactor in your system? if not what kind of calcium brand do you dose if you don't mind me asking. Thanks
 
no i would like to but do not have the room. I dose 2 part from BRS, calcium and alkalinity and then occasionally magnesium.
 
Nice, im going to start dosing the same stuff as you do to see any increase in growth rate. I never dose anything in my system except doing 20% water change once a week using DD salt brand
 
my growth rate is nice and i dont dose nothing just my weekly water changes. my tank is sooooo awesome....okay i lied i use bio pellets but no other chemicals and growth is nice my xenia is taking over and well my growth is just great for not dosing lol. had to post n brag and those frags i got from billy have almost taken over the rocks i put em on. its awesome

Haha fosho N. you should start a "show off your tank" thread in this forum!! I'll be the first to comment your tank foshure lolz!! I think if people doesn't have time to do weekly water changes. Dosing is a good way to replenish the trace element depleted over time in our system. To me finding a good brand of salt and do regular water changes is the best way to replenish the trace element without worrying overdosing your tank. But I'm also going to start dosing vitamin C to see if I could improving the color in my frag system.
 
lol i should but im just too freaking lazy to get camera put in batteries, charge batteries, put batteries back in, take pics, upload them to photobucket then post em here....just writing it took alot outta me. think ill go take a nap now. lmao

Thanks. I have been superswamped with work and kids activities. Little one has flag footballpractice t2icw a week and games on sat. Older one has student council and other assorted school things. Will see if I can swing by. Definately want to be more involved and do more stuff with the group
