I've got a problem with my Fire & Ice zoas.
I figured I would judge interest before coming home and fragging the colony. If I had some buyers, I could split the rock easy. Problem is the rock is unbreakable. I've never run into this with LR but this stuff is like cement. I've got to figure out what to do to break this up so if you have any ideas, I'm all ears.

A chisel is usually a standard procedure in this case. You could use a razorblade to cut the mat of zoas and peel the mat back slightly in order to expose the rock underneath. Then chisel the rock instead of chiseling through the zoas. You'll get a cleaner cut w/ the least risk of infection.

I've tried the razor blade method before with no luck. I used a screw driver and hammer and it didn't budge so I'm not sure if a chisel would work. This stone is def. not normal ocean rock!
