Coralvue vs Icecap MH ballast

trying to decide on a 250w mh electronic ballast...who is the best? icecap or coralvue? what are your experiences? is the electronic ballast better than magnetic?

Electronic ballasts are better IMO. They run cooler, and are easier on the bulbs when starting them. This will also extend the useful life of the bulbs. They are also more energy efficient - lower electric bills.

I own all Ice Caps, and I like them a lot. I've never tried the others.

I've been running Icecap 250w for over a year now and I like them.I just installed a fan in my canopy and noticed that help cool everything down alot including the ballast which were located on the back of the canopy were the air escapes.
