Correct mantis temperature?

Hello gang,

Ike's current home is a tropical 80 degrees but the holding tank where I need to move him for a couple weeks is a constant 74 degrees. I don't have a heater in the tank and that is just the temp of the powerhead in the water. I plan on acclimating him slowly but is this still too cold?

Chad,

Normal temp for a g smithii is 23 to 28 degrees Centigrade.

You'd be pushing the low end but with proper acclimation you're probably OK.
