I will be in Costa Rica next month, for sure down by Cahuita, not sure if I will travel to the Pacific side, but I was wondering if it would be worth my time to try some snorkeling? Anyone been there before.
Tips on the location or any advice in general as I've never snorkeled before would be cool.

I have never been there personally, but I do know that it has almost the same species as here in FL and the diving is great, if it was me I would definitly dive the atlantic side. The pacific side is not as well populated with colorful fish, there are a few, but only about one third the tropical fish compared to the atlantic side. That isn't to say don't dive there either, the animals there are just as fascinating, but just not the fish and inverts we normally see in tanks.
