could 1 clown be put in a 6g

Being in such a small tank, it would grow at a slow rate but I would think at full adult size it would be a little big for a 6g.

the clown would be by itself for its life and some live rock, sand, and maybe a shrimp . no corals, i will get them in another tank

i have a baby Occlearus "true percula" clown in a 3G for about a month now. its about one inch now and seems pretty content. keep your temp. about 76-78f and it will grow slower. the myth of smaller tank makes them only grow to the size of the tank is what it is, a Myth. also have 2" live sand and 4 lbs. Fiji LR with a turn-over rate of 51 gallons per hour. DIY surface skimmer attached to a HOB filter. good luck, and have a great Christmas and Happy New Year!

Dude, I saw another post of yours asking what you can keep in a tank 7 inches by 4 inches and it's making me wonder why you're looking to keep things in the smallest tank possible.
Why not have one tank, big enough to keep fish alive AND HAPPY?

i am concerned about keeping clowns in a 55 gal. I just couldnt bear to put a fish in a tank that small.

How about getting a clown loach and putting freshwater in the tank.

Would even be worse than putting a clownfish in there.

I would say no to that. A clown goby is all I would say, but still that is surely a small tank.

yes you can, just be on top of your water changes. there was a person who even had a pair spawn in his 6 gallon nanocube.
