Hello,
I have a green BTA that I purchased about 6 weeks ago.....its looks good and healthy, it is hosting both of my O.clowns, eating without problems.....
I have a 28 gal jbj nano cube with a 150W 20K radium bulb and 36W of actincs....I leave the day lights on for 7 hours....when the lights are on the anemone opens up wide and it stretches...looks like it is taking a sun bath...
I dont think is lack of light because it is not moving or acting weird, its just that stretches so much to the right and left that it looks like is going to rip....(it doesnt extend upwards towards the light)....so, I was feeding it every two days..which meant sometimes 3 times in a week....so I decided to change to only once per week feedings, I figure maybe is getting larger because I am feeding it too much, but it is still doing it...however, I remember when I bought the anemone at the LFS they had it under poor PC lights....but it was compact and full of bubbles......and the same happes when the actinics are on...........
I know there is very little I can do, I am not going to change my lighting but have you guys seen that before? Do your BTA's look compact under the daylights?
