Could my anemone be adjusting to the light or is it just bleached?

I've had my anemones for years. In January I changed from a Marineland 150w HQI with 4 T5 to an ecoxotic panorama retrofit with extra stunners, one blue, one uv.

I've got photos of the anemones attached they are 1 year apart. Could my anemone be adjusting to the different light or is it bleaching because it's not getting enought light from the new lighting?

I have a feeling that I'm going to be replacing my LED lighting back to my HQI this weekend.

Okay good -- was worried that something was really wrong with your tank to make it bleach that quickly.

Anyways, did you acclimate your tank to the new lights? I like to use 3 layers of window screening (( supported by egg crate )), and remove a layer every 5-7 days.

Did the bleaching recently occur or is it something that has been going on since the light change? (( or did it happen right away and you are now only posting about it -- that isn't a bad thing, just trying to get a better understanding of the timeline )).

I have a RBTA that turned bright pink like that about 2 yrs ago I guess. To this day it is still white/pink tips. I did it during a time the tank was severy neglected for months. The bulbs were never changed, so I ruled out bleaching on mine, although I would lean towards bleaching on yours.

that is getting bleached i would switch lights before it gets too bad. in my experience the panorama is not a good fixture, i replaced my halides with two of them and i lost loads of stony coral.
