Could my plate want to be back in my other tank?

HI all

I have an orange plate coral that I got at my LFS about a month ago.

My 55g with 4x54W T5HO lighting wasn't cycled at the time so I put it in my Aquapod with its stock 2x27W PC lights.

While in the aquapod for a good month or so it got huge and puffy and ate lots and didn't have too much flow.

Now i've acclimated it to my bigger tank since I figured it wouldn't do well in the long term with just PC lights - this tank has 2 Tunze 6025s so I can do SPS as well but it seems the plate doesn't get to eat as much since the flow makes things tumble across .. I'd probably have to turn the powerheads off to feed it.

it also doesn't get as puffy and its lips are pursed like its going to kiss me.

What should I do?

how long has the plate been in your tank? it could be that it is still acclimating itself to the new tank lighting/flow/everything else.

It spent about 1 month in the aquapod and I guess its going on another month here in the 55g... give or take a week.

It doesn't necessarily look unhealthy but I suppose I should give it more time to decide. I was really surprised how well it did in my aquapod lol
