Could Phosban reactor kill macroalgae?

i have some ANNOYING grape caulepra and regular feather looking caulepra that is spreading all over my rocks. no matter how much i pull itll grow back to the same length the next day or longer. its coming down to removing the rock and trading it to my LFS for their rock or just starting over. i just added a phoban reactor but was wondering if it could kill the caulepra?

I don't think it could kill them, but phosban will definitely stunt/retard their growth, especially on low bioload tanks.

"Nitro band" would be better:)

N will limit growth much better in larger macrophytic species.
But changing water and not feeding etc is an issue, why not get some herbivores?

A good pruning every month or so ought to beat it back good as well.
