Could this be ick on my fish?

I bought a Tail spot Blenny at the LFS about a week ago. I have noticed some white coloring on his head. Could this be ick? It seems to be white spots on the skin, and not some little white parasite specks, but I don't know enough about it to tell. He is my only fish in the tank, along with some inverts. He seems totally active and is eating normally with his usual huge appetite.
Thanks for some info.

Edited to add: I just noticed something weird. I went back to look at him in the tank, and when he is calm and just swimming around eating, the spots are almost gone. When I walked up close to look at him, he froze like he was scared at my movement, and the spots started to get really white, when I backed off, and he started feeding again, they started to fade away....... Whats up with that?

Maybe it's just changing color. The white is too large for ich. I imagine you would need a real clear close up to see exactly what it is tho.

That doesn't look like ich in the picture. It looks like natural markings.

Many reef fish change their coloration when they are frightened/nervous/stressed. Tangs do it all the time. My blennie also changes when upset. It will settle in.
