Hi I am relatively new to the marine hobby, although I have done freshwater for 17 years I switched over about three year ago and have had nothing but bad luck. Maybe if some of youi more experianced guys could give me some advice. I would really appreciate it cause I really love these fish that I have had and I am about to give up if I kill another fish. I went about 5 years without killing a single fish with my fresh water tank and now that I am trying Marine fish my fish seem to go south overnight. Just could use some words of wisdom and incouragement from some other fish keeper. Thanks!

Please dont feel like you are the only one who ever had trouble in this hobby. There are only about a million things that can go wrong. Best thing is to go slow and read as much as you can. Post questions as often as they come up. Use good equip. Test your water often. and did i say slow down??

well tell us more about your tank and equipment and livestock how bout whats going wrong and your parameters.. we would sure help.

I agree the best way for us to help would be to post as much as you can about your tank and pictures never hurt! Good Luck!

Tests: ph, temperature, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite.
Sump?
Skimmer?
Size tank?
Water source: ro/di?
New tank? Used?
Set up since when?
All fish from same source?
Added all at once, or individually?
Any symptoms, white dots? scratching?
So sorry to hear you're having troubles. This can be fixed, once we hit the right key.
