Couple Fish Pics

I realize these were no where near good focus, but that's the best I could do.

Any pointers on capturing fish???

I was using a XT with the Canon 100mm.

Focus on the eyes, Fast shutter, and a lot of patience... LOL Just keep snapping.

The pics Look amazing though I really like the clown and the last one alot

Try bumping up your ISO to a tolerable high so that you can increase your shutter speed. You're going to need to be up over 1/250 or so to freeze the action.

Looks like you could use a little bit more DOF as well.

Otherwise great captures (though having seen your other photos I was expecting more :-D).

Yea after posting these I wish I wouldn't have! LOL! Oh well at least I can learn.

Ok so what mode do you suggest shooting in? Straight Manual, AV, P, etc....????

I'll try again tonight or tomorrow maybe.

Oh BTW I do coral much better since they don't move! LOL! These were from last night as well. (can anybody identify the last pic?)
