The mandarin will eat pods. I have never witnessed him eat frozen foods, but he has been around a long time.

You will need to bring a bucket for the hydnaphora. Its big. A 5 gallon yould do.

I might be into the Clam. How big is does he get? I know you said he is 8" now. Do you need to feed him? I have a very stable system w/ rock steady 400 calcium/10.5 alk levels so that should be good for him. I have a bunch of mussels growing well on some rock (they are each about 2-3 inches long and do fine without me doing anything - so I assume a clam would be OK)... But I have only a 90gallon with not too much space left and I don't want anything I have to feed or add supplements to (I have a calcium reactor so trace elements are taken care of)
Can I just plop this guy in and leave him alone?
Lastly do you have a pic of him?
