Roger,
If you don't mind, a couple of quick questions:
1) On the osmolator set-up when using the calcium dispenser, I feel the need to add a backflow preventor between the osmolator pump and the dispenser. However, those devices tend to produce a lot of head. Better idea just to attach a longer piece of tubing between the pump and the dispenser and keep the level above the top of the dispenser to prevent siphoning?
2) On the comline 3166 filter, what is the proper pump?
3) On the reefpack 500, what are the proper pumps (this is at least a 4 year old set-up, in case model numbers have changed)?
4) Quality differences between the older 9002 (brown) skimmer and the newer (black) version. Noise is no issue in the environment it will be used. Likely a small bioload as well.
As usual, Thanks in advance.....
To any and all who read this thread, buy Tunze pumps, skimmers, streams, powerheads, filters, return pumps and other devices...you won't be sorry.
