I found out MS is now selling on ebay under the name saltwaterisland . Great prices and local pickup is free.

I also seen two awesome deals on NYAquatic. Naso tangs for 19.95 and they also have an awesome PAIR of Christmas island Flame Angels for 99.95.

I would love to take advantage, but no water yet, LOL. Just thought I would pass it on to my fellow slashers.

Saltwater Island is closing I believe. Michael, are you SURE it's MS selling under that name? They had stuff on ebay before and it wasn't under the SI name.

I contacted Saltwater Island and they told me it was actually someone else selling under that name, but would not tell me who. He said they were going to change their username soon. I asked the "ebay" saltwaterisland user how long they quarintined the fish and if they were eating before they listed them. He said yes and welcomed me to come check them out myself at Marine Solutions. He signed the responce "Jeremy". Does a Jeremy work there.

Letmegrow, I have never had any experience with NYaquatic personally, but have heard good things here on RC. I was just passing on what I thought was a nice price. Cannot vouch for quality, service or anything else.

I know I emailed user "saltwaterisland" on ebay, he sais he was Jeremy from marine solutions.

I emailed the store, Saltwater Island using the address on his website, and he said he was not user "saltwaterisland".

Chad, do you do free pickup or ground shipping for your local buyers on ebay?

I have bought stuff from chad online via ebay, he doesn't charge shipping if you do a pickup. I have not ordered anything in awhile so if things have changed oops.

ok this is wierd two seperate stores selling under the same name.... hmm especially when i know the dude "mark" who owns saltwater island and that he would never do this. saltwater island isnt going to close anytime soon..... i am at this store at least 2-3 times a week and have a good friendship with mark it is also the best lfs in my opinion that is anywhere close to me. i have never been pointed in the wrong direction or sold anything that i didnt need there either, i can NOT see him selling under the ms name as he has started his own business and no longer has anything to do with marine solutions or their business in any way shape or form online or not. anyways that is my 2 cents. whoever the ebay seller is going to have alot of explaining to do. especially if he works at ms and is selling under saltwater islands name.

i will definately talk to him tomorow in person i was supposed to go see him today for water and to ditch the lawnmower blenny that is terrorizing my tank for something that wont. but some stuff popped up and i couldnt make it there. i could always call his cell but ill wait till tomorrow and ill let you all know what he has to say to me about this. i am sure its just a mix up. and for those of you that havent made it to saltwater island yet to check it out i urge you to go and take a look. i will admit it is kind of hard to find the first time you are there, but it is a nice new store that has good prices and great looking fish and corals. also the store is always CLEAN.... no horrible looking glass on tanks or puddles of water on the floor. i think everyone in this hobby should make it to all of the lfs at least once just to look at the store. even if they dont buy anything. it is always nice to know where all the lfs's are in case of emergency your regular store might be out of or not have what your looking for and you may NEED to know. like i said i will talk to mark tomorrow in person and if he tells me anything different then has already been said here i will post it here asap.
