(Besides the kayak!!!)

I'm selling my 2.5 gallon reef/invert tank. It's currently home to a 1 1/2" mantis. He's blue/green in color, with orange legs and tailfeathers. The tank comes with him, about 10 red mushrooms, with some nice size to most of them, a couple dozen palythoas, all attached to about 2 lbs of rock, a whisper 10 filter, and a power compact hood with a 13 watt 50/50 bulb. (that's 5 watts per gallon, think I could do SPS???) J/k, but it's a neat display. I was going to enter it into the show this year, but that's not looking like a reality. It also has an inch of sand in the bottom. The mantis will eat snails, he's eaten an astrea and a couple of nassarius. He is also eating shrimp pellets with great relish. I'll sell this tank for $40.

I have a used PFO 14000k bulb, SE. It was used for 6 months and still fires. It was used 5 hrs per day. Still has lots of life left. A little blue for my taste, made the zoas look great! $20 takes it.

I have an Iwaki 6500k bulb with matching ballast and capacitor. This one was used for about 9 months to a year, 5 hrs per day. Still fires, yellowish white color, but MAN did those corals grow. I actually went to XM 10000k for a little slower growth. $35 for bulb and ballast combo. NO SOCKET, CORD, OR REFLECTOR.

20 gallon tank, brand new, with flourescent hood (standard hood) and brand new whisper 10 filter. $35 (filter alone is $25 new)

Old seaclone skimmer, was thinking of converting it to a homie-made phos-ban reactor. good condition, need cleaning. $10, no pump.

H.O.T. magnum (hang on tank) Complete, used 3 or 4 times during water changes, brand new condition. $35

Neat little box with rotating head, you mount a powerhead to the end of a shaft with the included bracket, it rotates a full 90 degrees very slowly. It's electric. I guess it's similar to a sea swirl, except you don't run tubing to it, it turns the whole powerhead. Nothing to clog with crud, moving parts are above the water. $20

Homie-made hang on the back refugium, made of plexi. Not pretty, but very functional. Worked great on my 29, but I had to put a stand under it due to the weight. It held around 4-5 gallons. Still watertight, all you need is a small powerhead and j-tube to get it going. $15 (needs a little cleaning, mostly calc algae.)

PM me and I'll drop you a line.

I have a slightly bigger than a golf ball sized acro colony, bright yellow in color, gets lots of fuzzy individual polyps, lots of branches, tightly packed, no dead spots, $30. And as always, if you're over and see something you like, I can frag alot of the colonies on the spot.

I also have a nice blastomussa wellsi polyp, decent size, bright solid orange with a lime green mouth. $15

Where exactly is Davie, Fl?

Davie is near Fort Lauderdale on the east coast.

Hey Lud, I guess I'm third in line if I counted right interested in the 2.5 if it doesn't work out them.

The Iwasaki is 250w, and has the ballast, capacitor, and bulb (no reflector or socket.) The PFO 14000k bulb is 250 watt also. Great prices on this stuff... even for just a spare!
