just courious. why don't you have your heater in your sump? or do you and im just looking at the wrong thing?

Actually, your right that is my heater. and its an OLLLD school one at that. I have known I need to get a new submersible one, that can go in my sump. I just havent yet because Im a slacker. Its on the to do list, lol.

Oskie- Thanks on the photos. I promise its not my skill though, its the ease of the camera. Minolta DImage Z10 has some great features

I notice things like that now because a friend of mine had his heater in his main tank and his BTA desided he wanted to sit on it, went down hill from there.

Main Rain, Beautiful tank, LOVE your long polyped toadstool. I've given up the old school heaters in favor of titanium submersibles. I find they are soooo much easier to regulate. Sue
