covering a tank

I have to set off some of those RAID fogger flea killer things this weekend as my dog brought in fleas due to my forgetting to apply frontline a while back....anywho does anyone have an good ideas for covering a tank to keep this crap from getting in the system? I'm sure someone has done this before....

Turn off any skimmer/air pumps or anything that draws air. Cover the tank completely front and back, side to side with preferably one sheet of clean plastic to the floor (taping it down is not a bad idea if you can). Doing this after the lights are off is a must obviously. After the fogging and the cleanup carefully peel of the plastic. Make sure you wash your hands before you go turning everything on and use some carbon just to be sure. I had to do this when I lived in the dorms at Wright-Patt when they bombed the whole place for bugs.

On a side note I used some foggers when we bought this house last fall and we only had to leave the area for a couple of hours. The times can vary with different brands of foggers... something else to consider. Good luck...
