Hello, I am treating my puffer and clownfish for ick and possibly velvet. Here are the two products I am torn between purchasing, are they different in useage because the amazon one is way cheaper.

Once I get one how much do I dose for a 10 gallon QT? Is it ok to leave my bio filter on? Finally do I just dose once and then maintain that dosage when I do my water changes and then run carbon to get it out after 30 days? Sorry for all the questions I just really wanna kick this sickness.

I've used the amazon one with success. They should be the same dosage. You have to make a serious mistake to overdose CP. Leave you filter running. avoid UV light and carbon (I usually just leave my lights off during treatment).

Using a scale or some way to measure grams to .1 is better than using the scooper provided with the New life spectrum powder.

10mg/l is standard dose, some go up to 15-25mg/l, especially with velvet. 20mg/l might be best, but someone else might know better...

Do I just dose it with the correct ammount and then treat all water for waterchanges before I add it? Will carbon get it out after 30 days?

yes, cabron will remove it, as will UV light (so keep the tank out of sunlight, i run with lights off but if the lights don't put out UV, or you have a UV filter you are fine). Yes, just dose the replacement water with the correct amount. no need to dose the tank again.

Is this the same as the amazon one? Its alittle cheaper and the shipping is faster.
