Cpperband butterfly & Feather dusters

I know that alot of people use CBB's to eat aptasia in their tanks. Do these fish also eat feather dusters at all? I have a ton of them springing up in my tank lately.
 
good to know. I have a good size CBB in my QT tank right now but he's been slow to eat. Tempted to move him over into the DT and see if he goest to town on them.
 
my CBB, killed my sand bed, ate all dusters, worms, and so on lol

along with it, he ate aiptasia and mysis
 
THats one thing I have not tried yet but is on the list to try as I have heard that works from some other people as well. Just figured I might get the bonus of feather duster clean up as well since they are getting out of control.
 
I actually gave my CBB away so I could get my feather dusters back, I prefer having them.
On top of wiping out all my feather dusters he also ate a large coco worm.
At least mine did wipe out the aptasia.
 
Well it doesn't really matter much at this point. Found mine dead in the QT tank this morning. He was swimming around just fine at 2 am when I got home. I can only assume he spent a good while at LA not eating and adding that to the 5 days he was here not eating was too much for him. Wishing I would have just went straight to the DT so at least he would have been eating the million feather dusters.
