CPR acrylic stand

Hi folks,

Got a quick question about the CPR fuge "light" stand. I've never had one so you'll have to tell me if this is the way it is "supposed" to be. I just received the CPR hob refugium and the light and stand in my order yesterday. I only tried putting it together now and found something (i think) is odd. I can only assume either...

a) I ordered the wrong item
b) The wrong item was sent even though it was labeled correctly
c) None of the above - this is the way it's supposed to be.

Here's a pic of what i'm trying to describe:

The acrylic stands are this item code number: CR1761.

The fuge in the pic is this item code number: CR1731

Is this the way the stand is supposed to be? It seems a little odd that the stand doesn't "hook" on. When I reverse it - it hooks on the stand but not the light.

I really am not sure - and if it's choice C, am I supposed to glue the acrylic stand to the fuge? Sorry about the lighting - that's with my actinics on. Thanks!

Hi Phil,

Looking at your picture, it looks like you may have been sent stands for the AquaFuge PS (which are narrower). We will check our inventory later today to make sure that the two items are not mis-labelled.

Please give us a call tomorrow and we'll send out the correct ones for you.

Wow...the exact same thing happened to me. I thought I was just crazy and those acryllic supports were the way they were supposed to be.

I had ordered a small Aquafuge original (no protein skimmer). What is the process to go about getting the light mounting brackets exchanged?
